New Offset, 21 Savage & Metro Boomin’ “Without Warning” Is Leaving Heavy Impressions Only A Few Hours In

Future and Young Thug’s “Slimey” was supposed to be the hottest piece to come out for weeks, but Metro Boomin, Offset and 21 Savage are giving the duo a run for their money; with only a few hours to its name, “Without Warning,” hit us literally without warning and is turning up the fire in the hip hop community once again.

The production shown from Metro Boomin’ has the potential to name him the MVP of 2017, this project is the perfect visage of a purely Halloween stroll through the Trap.

Beyond his recent high profile proposal to Cardi B, Offset has had one hell of a year- between his multiple projects, Offset comes off in fine form with a flow on “Without Warning” that may very well cement him as the voice of the new school rappers.

21 Savage plays an ice cold persona to Offset’s animated façade, Savage brings out recent events still fresh in the mind that replay and make us relive the events in a manner that’s true to the rapper’s name.

Hurricane Irma on my neck, n***a, flooded out, Hurricane Harvey on my wrist, shit, flooded out.” Savage picked his verses carefully, delivering them to brutal effect.

For years Metro has been defining the dark-banger; this project highlighted the perfect opportunity for his production to shine. Metro Boomin’ took all the success of his work on Gucci Mane’s Droptopwop, and brought it all to “Without Warning” for a feel that’s straight out of the horror movies and beyond.

Beach House 3 is arguably one of Ty Dolla $ign’s strongest projects to date, with features from Future, Lil Wayne and more- last night he took his flow on the road for a stop in with Jimmy Kimmel, performing a medley of the hits for fans worldwide.

“So am I” and “Paranoid” were featured, while “Luv U Better” was available for separate stream online- recently Ty sat down with Ebro in the Morning, and talked about his industry status as a “Feature Artist.” Question to all the readers out there- would you rather be massively successful as a feature artist, or still have to hustle as an individual artist?

That just happened, I didn’t know that, like, everyone was going to want me on their records,” Ty said when asked how he became so involved in the projects of other artists. “I just made music and it happened.

Ty Dolla $ign has seen a meteoric rise in popularity in recent times, and he’s still hungry.

Recently revealing that he’s started his own label called “The Movement,” with his first signees being 24hrs and Joe Moses. 2 Chainz Rolls Up Then Steps Up A Performance Travis Scott On Jimmy Fallon

Last night 2 Chainz gave one of the best, if not the best Jimmy Fallon performance of 2017- earlier on in the year he brought out the Trap Choir on Fallon for “Good Drank;” last night he called up Travis Scott to perform “4AM” with him on Fallon’s late night set.

Earlier this year you’ll remember 2 Chainz broke his leg, but instead of cancelling his tour the rapper copped himself a pink wheelchair, matching the cover of his album “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.” While on stage Scott was on top of it, making good use of the space and making up for Chainz lack of mobility.

2 Chainz was able to work up the crowd even though seated, and Travis Scott rocked a Houston Astros cap in support of his home team, but it was the last verse that came as a surprise- fighting pain and showing just how on top of it he was, 2 Chainz stood for the last verse so the track could be completed in style.

Before dropping rhymes, 2 Chainz took the time to sit on Fallon’s couch and discuss the finer things in life, like his upcoming VICELAND show MOST EXPENSIVEST and his dog, whom happened to fall asleep halfway through the conversation- he “heard this story before.

Rick Ross Treats Models To WingStop While On Tour

Rick Ross has always been a boss, but handing out wings during the American Eagle’s 40th Anniversary bash took him a step above the rest on a good guy level.

Acting both as a rapper and all around dope dude at the party, Rick Ross went from model to model handing out wings from his loved fast food chain “WingStop.”

While there, Rick Ross wasn’t only there to drop wings- performing “Hustlin,” “The Boss,” and “New Flame,” as reported by Page Six it wasn’t just the models that Rick Ross passed out food to, but the audience itself- even inviting several onstage.

Per Page Six: “Rick brought actress Billie Lourd, models Jordyn Woods and Iskra Lawrence up on the stage to feed them,” the publication writes. “He was hand-feeding Iskra wings.

Last week Rick Ross waded into the Birdman-Wayne debate, dropping his opinion on the whole affair- according to Rozay, Birdman should have shelled out by far more than he did for Wayne considering how much money Weezy has brought Birdman over the years.

Rick posted his thoughts straight up in a Snapchat video, with Rick Ross relaxed lounging in his car;

It just ran across my mind. And I said, ‘damn, I wonder if Birdman paid that man yet?’ Pay that man,” he said, “Pay that man. Man, that man sold a million his first week. God damn, what a nigga gotta do to get his money? What that man gotta do for you to pay him? Sell 10 million in the first two days? Then you’ll pay that man? God damn… Man, let you sweet niggas ride around clean for a long time, man. Gon’ get a loan and pay that man. You know what I don’t like really the most about this shit is the fact that y’all two fightin’ each other instead of y’all two fighting the white people. You switched out on him.

“Every Thug Needs A Lady” Keyshia Ka’Oir Hits Up The Breakfast Club

Ja Rule was on point when he famously said that “Every Thug Needs A Lady.” As a symbol of hip hop itself, it’s no real surprise then that Gucci Mane and Keysia Ka’oir have made one of the most iconic couples in Hip Hop thusfar.

Gucci Mane is a legend in himself, but Keysia is no slouch herself- as an accomplished businesswoman, she married a music mogul. As the official “Ms. Mane,” Keysia stopped by The Breakfast Club to drop names, rumors and business ventures with Angela Yee, Charlemagne and DJ Envy.

Both she and Gucci have been the talk of the town- opening up the conversation, Keysia spoke on how she first met her man saying just how much of a charming gentleman he actually is.

Attention eventually turned to a rumor that Guwop gave her a cool $2 Million, which she rumored to have invested…turning into 6Mil. While she never confirmed the exact amount, with a coy smile she responded to Charlemagne and Envy with the following;

He gave me some money, and he came home to a lot more…I invested the money, I started some businesses. Everything I did I spoke to him about.

Both she and Gucci seem to have done well for each other in the marriage- it could have been a lot worse if the rumor about a hidden family Charlemagne asked about ended up being true. Rumor has it that Keysia was actually hiding 3 children in Jamaica;

Absolutely not…I came to America when I was ten.

Lets face it, everyone wants to be as happy as Guwop and Keysia seem to be, they’re a power couple. Keysia claimed that blogs were written and images photoshopped of Gucci in with these kids that were circulated- all of it was just an attempt to sully the marriage.

God damn,” said Ka’oir. “We were just your relationship goals yesterday, now we gettin’ married today, all ya’ll comin’ for me with these abandoned children in Jamaica, and they Photoshopped four kids with Gucci in the middle, it was so bad.

I’d be heated as well, it’s clear she obviously loves her husband- we wish the very best for the couple, and look forward for all they’ll undoubtedly accomplish together.

Cam Newton Walks Out Of Another Press Event

Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers and the media are well known not to get along- n fact only yesterday, Cam Newton walked out of yet another press conference without warning, leaving journalists mystified.

After a reporter had posed a question about the offenses’ ability to gain yardage in “big chunks,” Cam simply rolled his eyes, said “Next Question,” and left the podium before any reporters even had a chance to respond.

In truth, we’re not entirely sure that Cam New “gets” press conferences as a whole; this seems to be the overarching opinion of many within the league, however it doesn’t seem to be bothersome to the Carolina Panthers, who’s spokesperson Steven Drummond per ESPN responded to yesterday’s incident with the following;

Cam didn’t intend to be discourteous toward any specific media member. In his mind, after answering questions for nine minutes he had fulfilled his obligations.

Perhaps his most publicized exit was following the Panther’s Superbowl 50 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos- this most recent media fiasco has come about just a week after Newton failed to meet his weekly media requirements by failing to show up to speak at either Wednesday or Thursday of the previous week.

It’s been a string of media gaffs, this week coming so soon after Cam Newton told female reporter Jordan Rodrigue that he was surprised; “It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes.”  Lost a sponsorship out of that comment- eventually Cam put out a heartfelt apology;

After careful thought, I understand that my word choice was extremely degrading and disrespectful to women,” he said. “And to be honest, that was not my intention. If you are a person who took offense to what I said, I sincerely apologize to you.

I’m a man who tries to be a positive role model to my community and tries to use my platform to inspire others. I take ownership to everything that comes with that. What I did was extremely unacceptable.

Whether Cam Newton can learn anything from his most recent walkout is yet to be seen before the after game report when the Panthers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hopefully he’ll be able to- the internet is already ablaze with backlash from his most recent abrupt disappearance.

Yo Gotti Spends Time With The Breakfast Club, Goes In On Young Dolph Beef & Talks Nicki Minaj

Not long ago Yo Gotti’s collab “Rake It Up” with Nicki Minaj went platinum, adding to his already solid 2017 year- he’s still hungry though, soon he’ll be dropping his latest project I Still Am before the end of the year.

“Juice” is the newest tease off the album- Gotti has a crazy schedule; between dropping new music and scheduling tours, it’s crazy to begin with that he had the time at all to stop by with The Breakfast Club for a long interview.

Nevertheless, Yo Gotti took time out to sit down with Charlemagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee; in that time he sat down and talked his Young Dolph beef. It’s all been a long time in coming- a while ago Yo Gotti tried to bring on Young Dolph as a signee with his CMG Imprint, but Dolph decline.

While it’s respectful that the youngster wanted to forge his own path in the industry rather than just leaning on Yo Gotti’s name, it wasn’t taken that way- more of a personal insult. The beef is far from over, but Gotti claims there isn’t even an issue to begin with.

I don’t got no issue,” Gotti told Charlamagne Tha God, after it was insinuated that the beef had gone far enough. “It’s probably the second or third time I’ve been up in here and said the same thing.

Yee went in further to suggest that rappers could use the tabloids to boost perceptions of their work, even if the attention drawn was wrong- referring of course to the short lived supposed connection between You Gotti and the Young Dolph shooting incident in LA earlier this summer. That incident still hasn’t faded from the minds of fans and critics alike, but Gotti claims that his Dolph feud hasn’t impacted his ability to make that money one way or another.

Eventually The Breakfast Club gets around to some more wholesome topics, such as Yo Gotti’s charitable work around the Mephis area- he wishes to keep his work on the DL and let the good work ride rather than publicize it, which is just the way it should be.

Colin Kaepernick Invited To NFL Team Owners And Players Meeting

With the “Take a Knee” controversy in full swing, the initiator of it all, Colin Kaepernick has reportedly been invited to the next meeting between the NFL players and owners occurring next Tuesday in New York.

Per ESPN, the invitation for Colin Kaepernick to join was extended by the players themselves, not the league according to NFL spokesman Joe Lockheart. Whether or not Colin Kaepernick will actually attend is still remaining to be seen.

We look forward to him joining the conversation,” said Lockheart.

Right.

Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins said last week that he had invited Colin Kaepernick to a special NFL meeting in New York, however Kaepernick turned down the offer at the time- that meeting contained 13 players, 11 owners/ representatives from the league and the NFL Players association.

On October 15th Kaepernick ended up filing a grievance against the NFL’s owners stating he believed they had conspired against him to prevent him from playing within the league- while he’s not working with the NFLPA, he Colin Kaepernick did hire a very high profile lawyer, Mark Geragos, to represent his claims.

“We can confirm that this morning we filed a grievance under the CBA on behalf of Colin Kaepernick, said Geragos in a statement. “This was done only after pursuing every possible avenue with all NFL teams and their executives.

“If the NFL (as well as all professional sports leagues) is to remain a meritocracy, then principled and peaceful political protest—which the owners themselves made great theater imitating weeks ago—should not be punished and athletes should not be denied employment based on partisan political provocation by the Executive Branch of our government.”

There have been a host of injuries this season in the NFL, but Kaepernick still can’t find a job- regardless, he has still continued his charitable work, including his pledge to donate a million dollars to selected organizations.

T-Pain Drops Combo Of Classic Tracks On TRL

Back in the 2000’s T-Pain made his mark on the hip hop community, and it can easily be argued that how he used auto-tune forever changed the industry. In more recent times he’s ditched the technology and vocoder for more traditionalist acoustic means on his acoustic road tour.

On the road he’s been laying down classic tracks, but he also took the time to stop by TRL- both to perform his new hit Goal Line with Blac Youngsta, but to belt out some classic hits, from “Buy U A Drank,” to “I’m N’ Luv Wit A Stripper.

One of the most interesting aspects of the entire performance was that the only backing tracks came from violin’s and a soft played piano. Moving from the soft chorus, later on T-Pain brought out Blac Youngsta to bring up a high energy rendition of “Goal Line.” The juxtaposition might feel off, but overall it only exemplifies T-Pain’s range as an artist.

As revealed during his time with TRL, the whole idea for the acoustic tour came from his “To The Beat” episode with Kurt Huge Shneider.

“When everybody heard it, they were automatically was like ‘yo, I want to see a full joint of this,’ so I’m like, ‘cool. I’ll give a whole two hour medley of what we’re doing,” he says, “The whole entire tour sold out in 26 seconds.”

Overall the time on TRL gives a real nice vibe for what you can expect from T-Pain’s concert tour- the tour only comes up to a total of 6 days, with stops in New York City, San Francisco, Cambridge, West Hollywood, Chicago.

Marshawn Lynch Suspension Upheld For Making Contact With An Official

Marshawn Lynch has officially been suspended for a game, and will miss the Raiders matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8- Marshawn did appeal the suspension decision that was put in place after Lynch made physical contact with an official, but it was upheld by league officer James Thrash.

The Raiders barely pulled out a win over their division rival the Kansas City Chiefs (and what a win, at 31-30!)- in the second quarter Marshawn Lynch ran onto the field in an attempt to disengage his offensive linemen and the Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters from a brewing scuffle. During that period, Lynch accidently grabbed an official whom also was trying to quell the situation.

Lynch was ejected from the game, and suspended from the upcoming Bills matchup as well.

Per ESPN, during the appeal hearing Lynch argued that plenty of other players in the past have made contact with officials, and have not been suspended, and he had the support of Marcus Peters in his appeal.

Lynch had argued at Monday’s appeal hearing that nine other players, including Aaron Donald and Taylor Lewan last season, have made contact with an official and none have been suspended, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The source also said that Peters spoke on Lynch’s behalf during the hearing, which was held by conference call.

Peters told Thrash that Lynch was trying to calm him and the situation.

Raiders lineman Donald Penn also spoke on Lynch’s behalf, saying that both Marshawn and Marcus Peters are like brothers to eachother.

“I ran over there and got [Peters] off of him because the refs weren’t doing their job of protecting my quarterback when he’s on the ground,” Penn said.

“I saw Marshawn come out there; that’s his cousin. Chris Long did that thing to his brother a couple years ago. Marshawn wasn’t doing anything. He was just trying to protect his cousin, get his cousin to the sideline. They’re real close, they’re more like brothers than cousins, they’re real close. He’s going to learn. Marshawn’s smart, he’s going to learn from that moving forward.”

This season Marshawn Lynch has for only 266 yards with 2 touchdowns to his name for the season- it’ll be an uphill battle for the Raiders without the support of Lynch, as the 3-4 Raiders will take on the 4-2 Bills during this Sunday’s matchup.
